Admission Requirements

Ensure you meet the criteria for your desired program. Please review the following requirements carefully.

In addition to general requirements, specific faculties and departments may have unique prerequisites. Always consult the official academic catalogue for the most current information.

An applicant must have credit passes (A1-C6) in core English, core Mathematics, and either core Integrated Science or Social Studies, plus three elective subjects, with an overall aggregate of 36 or better.

An applicant must have credit passes (A-D) in core English, core Mathematics, and either core Science or Social Studies and three elective subjects, with an overall aggregate score of 24 or better.

An applicant must have at least credit passes in 5 subjects (including English Language and Mathematics at the GCE Ordinary Level and at least 3 passes at the GCE Advanced Level). One of the Advanced Level passes must be a grade 'D' or better.

Candidates must be at least 25 years old. A certified birth certificate is required. Entrance examinations consist of a General Paper and two papers in the area of specialization desired.

Foreign applicants must have qualifications equivalent to local standards. Results must be translated into English, and certificates must be validated by the National Accreditation Board. An entrance examination or interview may be required.
