CTVET Institutional Registration
The Nyarkotey University College has received a five-year institutional registration from The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) as a Competency-Based Training (CBT) provider. Registration number: CT-TP0687/22.
The College has also developed National Occupational Standards for HND and BTech in Naturopathy and Holistic Medicine, a first of its kind in Ghana and Africa.
Clinical Training Partnership
NUCHMT is in a clinical training collaboration with the Tema General Hospital, approved by the Ghana Health Service (GHS). Our students receive hands-on clinical training under the supervision of medical doctors.
This collaboration promotes integrative, evidence-based practices and provides exposure to a functioning Herbal Medicine Department.
TMPC Professional Approval
NUCHMT is the first private tertiary school in Ghana to receive approval from the Traditional Medicine Practice Council (TMPC), Ministry of Health, for the HND and BTech in Naturopathy and Holistic Medicine.
Successful students are eligible to sit for the Professional Qualifying Exams (PQE) to obtain their license to practice in Ghana.
World Naturopathic Federation
Our programs meet the World Naturopathic Federation (WNF), Canada, and World Health Organization (WHO) benchmarks for Naturopathic education.
NUCHMT is the first Naturopathic Medical School accepted as an educational Member of the WNF in Ghana, West Africa, and on the African Continent.
Lincoln University College Partnership
NUCHMT has signed an MoU with Lincoln University College, Malaysia, to offer the Professional Diploma and BSc. in Homeopathic Medicine. Graduates receive their diplomas and degrees directly from this 5-star ranked university.
